珥本設計
URBANE is characterized as polished smooth and elegance, refers to the projects we try to express, we use the idea of context to the Chinese word Er Ben as the metaphysics, Er is ancient jade earring, the combination of jade and ear. Jade is the natural beauty of material, compared to ear, the very details of the human anatomy, as in the design operation, we want to show the most primitive material characteristics, and explore in space of ratio partition, the severity of the thickness relationship. Through space partitioning process, it arranged to function with moving lines of light and shadow penetrating clarity. Mainly emphasize in details and materials usage and lay special in contrast of color and blank leaving space. Design is the trace of living, portraying the lines and materials in each verse.
URBANE為都會洗煉、溫文爾雅的形容詞，這樣的形容也十分符合我們作品表達出來的氛圍，我們將這樣的思路脈絡以珥本這兩個中文字作為形上學的表現，珥為古代朱玉耳飾，由玉與耳兩字組合而成，玉乃自然優美之材料、耳則為人體構造極富細節之處，就像在設計的操作中，我們想呈現出材質最原始的特性，並探討其在空間中比例、分割、輕重、厚薄的關係，並經由空間分割排列的過程，達到機能與動線，光線與陰影，穿透與封閉的相對關係。我們重視設計裡空間的內外層次及視覺的清透感，強調細部哲學與材料肌理的構成與運用，側重色彩與留白的對比，設計是一種生活的痕跡，在線條與質材的勾勒下，謙謙道出每段詩句。
